TRAIL #14 [action/video] 4TH WALL
[video]
[The video starts with 'Gear bouncing over the ground, as if it was dropped which it probably was if you consider what comes into view.]
[Perched on top of one of the high buildings typical of Saffron City is something large. Something enormous with big, black claws and small, green-glowing eyes, and it's leering right down at you.]
[There's a horrible sounds as the strange abomination leaps, the views is jumbled as the 'gear is hastily picked up and then abruptly turned off.]
[action]
A WILD STONE JAGUAR APPEARED
>Fight >Poké
>Item >Run
Can't escape!
Tulio and Miguel are running for their lives anyway because there's no stopping this thing. It seems to have it's lock-on targeted on them, and it's relentlessly crashing everything that gets in its way to get to them.
(Or, ignore the immense jaguar made of stone and ungodly magic and just have nonsensical 4th wall fun with us anyway /o/)

[He catches up to them easily, now that he can run at his full speed, and keeps pace.]
What did you guys do to piss that thing off?!
no subject
We stepped on its tail? How the hell should I know?!
[Funny story? He really doesn't have a clue. Ah, canon points.]
no subject
Well what is it?! [He looks back over his shoulder as he runs.]
Some kind of Pokemon?
no subject
If it is I don't want to find out what the hell it'll do once-
[ROARRRRrrr thump thump]
[Yeah, cringing, shutting up, and trying to find an alley or other cover or something.]
no subject
[So once there's an available hiding place he's going for it, reaching to tug Tulio's arm as he turns, just to make sure he's following.]
no subject
[With someone else leading he takes a brief moment to look behind them, and the stone jaguar looks as furious as something with a face of stone can, but also like it can't take turns very quick.]
[So there's that, at least.]
no subject
[And there is definitely that. Envy leads them to the place he spotted; a narrow alley, barely big enough for two people to walk side by side in. With luck, that'll provide an obstacle to the jaguar for a while, at least.]
[It's only when they're well into the alley that Envy stops, although he had kept glancing back to make sure he wasn't leaving them behind. No way is he going to do that. He isn't out of breath at all, and leans against the wall as he looks at Tulio, glancing him up and down for any injuries, and mutters.]
How long was that thing chasing you?
no subject
Uh, I don't know. A while.
[= no clue.]
[He takes another moment to stretch out, which causes a loud groan.]
I think it chased us past Goldenrod.
no subject
[And he does mean that; he might have his powers of speed and stamina back now, but after spending all this time without them he's well aware that Tulio and Miguel are fast. He reaches to clap Tulio on the shoulder.]
And if I have anything to say about it, it won't be chasing you anymore.
[He sounds perfectly confident about this too. Nothing hurts his people, especially not now that he's got his powers back.]
no subject
[So he eyes Envy for a moment, then nods, slowly, but accepts it for what it is.]
[He does remember the things Envy can do, after all.]
Right, you're - your powers are back.
[And for once he doesn't look uncomfortable with the idea. He's still too busy watching this New Side, head tilted a little, like he's investigating something curious.]
1/2
[Honestly, this is a side to Envy that Envy hasn't really seen before, and he hasn't even noticed what he's doing yet. Somewhere along the way in Johto, not under the control of a master and having people he likes and wants to keep safe and who he's even rescued in a few cases...he's actually started to want to be able to. He's never been good at reassurance, but he's had a lot of practice and examples here. And with the big old confidence boost that came with the return of his abilities, right now he feels like he actually can.]
2/2
[..ah yes, that small frown and mildly defensive and confused tone sounds more like familiar Envy.]
no subject
You just .. nevermind.
[A small beat, then suddenly jerked back to a more "augh" state of mind with the sound of something massive not too far away, and he looks up at Envy again. A bit cocky, despite his own nervousness, just to see if he can get that Leader Envy back.]
Well?
no subject
[Thankgod for their endurance or it would've already caught them by now]
no subject
[He glances back over his shoulder at the jaguar before returning his attention to running.]
But it sure seems to want you two!
no subject
[Saying anything while running is hard, and not recommended, so Miguel'll just stick to running for now. He's trying to zig-zag between buildings, but it's hard to concentrate when there's 23 feet of death on your tail.]
It's not a Pokémon, that's for sure.
