Trail #11 - [video]

_{[Hello Johto, today you're treated with a quite terrible photo of a tree, and also Miguel's vaguely frantic voice]}

Aaargh hell! What happened now? Did I break it? Did I- _{[The photo time-outs and the 'Gear switches back to video mode. You can clearly see that, yes, there is a big tree right there in view and there is something blue in it]}

Oh, it's back to normal now?

Yes it is! Great! What was that, really? Suddenly the screen-thing froze, does anyone know why?

_{[And the view zooms in on the blue thing in the tree that just so happens to be Tulio.]}

Behold! One of nature's wonders! A monkey-person!

I will, don't worry! No one will be harmed today. Except maybe you if you fall from that tree but I hope you can avoid that.

But Tulio isn't listening right now - and FINALLY manages to get up to where Pico is, forces her to stay in place with the most intimidating glare and then grabs her by the feet - gently, but just she won't fly away. She's not too keen on the treatment, but tough luck, Pico, you're the one who started this to begin with.]

Hey Dinero _{['here kitty-kitty-kitty' gestures]} come here, you can't sit there right now.

_{[...HAHAHA no. That's pretty much the look you're being given right now, Miguel. And a hiss.]

Here, look _{[fishes out a handful of PokéCandies (that he actually saved for Tiburra fff) from his pocket]} I have this. Do you want it? Then come and get it.

Come on, Dinero, don't you think catching the bird would be a lot more effort than is actually worth it? Just look at how tiny that thing is.

Buut I suppose if you don't want these I'll have to give them to Tiburra _{[closes hand a bit]}

[Oh gdi. Yes. The bird IS tiny. But it's a matter of principle here. Dinero does however move slightly towards Miguel before realizing that wait, no, that means losing, and stops once more. >:C what is life. what are choices.]}

Well, okay, if you don't want them. _{[Makes a move to put the candies back, takes one casual step closer and scratches his chin thoughtfully]}

But that is a small bird. Really hard to catch, so not worth it if you ask me.

_{[...what. It's not like he can't catch it. Besides, it's a ... thing of principle. That's a bird, he's a huge ferocious mean cat, of course he's going to get the bird.]

[... but goddammit FINE he'll take your stupid candies.]

[But not kindly. So uh. Have the mountain lion-y cat sort of hurl himself at you, Miguel, with a very demanding look and teeth bared.]}

No need to be over-eager _{[Do not want hands all torn up by claws (Totodile teeth was terrible enough), so have a few of them sort of.. dropped down at your feet]}

_{[Whipping his tail to prove a point, he then procedes to eat them. Like a swag cat or something, all eating them one at a time and eating it thoroughly before eating the next one.]

[You're not the boss of him. >:C .... but these are good stuff.]

[MEANWHILE, Tulio's managed to get down, holding onto Pico with both hands and looking like he's not sure what to do with her. :I She's just tagged along in his hair as per usual, so he'd left her pokéball back in town. BAD IDEA, apparently. He doesn't really want to let her go because evil cat.]

[Ah well. Approaching cautiously, holding the bird high like maybe that will help.]

[But it's cool, Dinero just gives them a brief show of teeth before he keeps eating in that slow weird manner of his.]}

No bloodshed? I'm impressed.

_{[MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Should Dinero get any other ideas there's always more candy.]}

Me too, actually. Your cat doesn't seem to be very fond of anyone.

Not aside furry stripey weasel-things, apparently.

I suppose that's the exception.

But hey, you got your bird down without any traumatic experiences! Congratulations.

_{[Have a grin and a bow, just for show - not so different from the routine they pull when tricking people. Or guards. Mostly guards. Keeps an arm outstretched - the one with the hand he's got Pico caught in.]}

This sounds like a reasonable course of action. _{[And they go. Aah, it feels so great to be able to sleep at an inn.]}

Your cat may be a little mean but he sure is useful.

_{[Turning to make sure you hear this Dinero good god you annoying cat rararr, he then rolls his eyes and shifts his hold on Pico, makes sure he's not hurting her.]}

We're beyond lucky that those gigantic creatures of yours aren't the same. Or Envy's.

Heh, yeah, well, Altanera is a bit on the haughty side.

_{[Eyebrow and grin as he carefully sidesteps a rather big rock that was in the way. No tripping with bird.]}

Yeah, no kidding. I was thinking of Altivo when I named her but as we clearly can see it fits way more than I thought it would.

_{[Yeah, he'd figured. But they hadn't actually talked much about back then, so he shoots Miguel a sort of tentative/searching look.]}

Hm... A bit. Sometimes _{[Johto has distracted him pretty nicely from all things.]}

Not really ... I mean, what's there to miss? Guards and wanted posters?

This place isn't all that bad, most of the time.

I like it a lot here, actually. Not being wanted is just one of the great things about this place. _{[I mean, seriously. Magically contained fires. No Chell. Warm showers. Can't get better than that.]}
